Deep Vein Thrombosis (blood clot) Travel Clinic
FREE CONSULTATION
A nurse travel specialist will provide a full consultation and examination. The purpose of the consultation is to identify any specific problems including past and present risk factors which might predispose you to the development of a blood clot. Advice can be given on simple matters including thread veins, varicose veins and leg swelling.
There is no charge for this service.
If you require further investigations these can be arranged at cost or, if appropriate, using your medical insurance.
If there are any problems you may require a further consultation with Mr Scurr who will advise if treatment is indicated.
Also available in the clinic are simple measures to reduce the risk of traveller's thrombosis including elastic compression stockings for sale and foot exercise devices for sale.
